Founded in October 2017 by Khelil and his son Hassene Jeljeli, "JK Lighting" is a family-owned design company whose mission is to create "bright" objects. Hassene Jeljeli, 27, a training architect at ENAU, and his father Khelil, a self-taught designer, decided to launch together to create a brand that resembles them. The idea? Use popular and unconventional materials, such as marble or plywood to make noble and design objects. On a human scale, "JK Lighting" privileges ethics to industrial mass creation. Their workshop is based in Mnihna, a working-class neighborhood where they work with two women they have trained and who do an impeccable job. The strength of this young brand, a responsible and innovative team work that tends to make the luminaire an ultra-design and contemporary object.
